Free Courses for Jobs

These courses are part of the UK government’s Free Courses for Jobs initiative that help adults who want to study a level 3 qualification where there is a current skills shortage. Courses under this initiative are all free to eligible learners.

These courses can help you to:

gain skills that employers value
improve your job prospects
earn a higher wage

If you’re eligible, you will not have to pay for your level 3 qualification. The government will pay the course fees.

You will be eligible for a free place if you are aged 19 or over and you are resident in London and meet the other residency criteria . In addition:

You do not already have a level 3 or above qualification, or
You already have a level 3 or above qualification or higher but earn below the London Living Wage, or
You already have a level 3 or above qualification or higher but are unemployed and in receipt of an active benefit or Other benefits.
