Our refer a friend programme is managed by a third party platform called Mention Me: Refer A friend

This gives you the opportunity to refer a friend/family member (someone who hasn’t already got an order history with us) and be rewarded for doing so.

The new student that you refer to us will be offered a discount code (£20 off a course that is £99 or more).

Once they have redeemed the offer and enrolled onto their course, you be rewarded with the same offer (£20 off a course that is £99 or more).

Referrer Rewards Terms and Conditions

• The referrer is offered £20 off one course which is £99 or more for each friend who orders for the first time.
• This offer can be shared for 3 months from the date of acceptance by the referrer.
• In order for the referral to qualify for the reward the referred friend must be a new customer to City Lit and over the age of 19 and the referred friend must meet the conditions of their reward.
• Referral rewards can be claimed by selecting your course online, entering the code you are provided into the discount box and selecting ‘apply discount’, when you book via citylit.ac.uk.
• There is no requirement for the referrer to be an existing City Lit customer.
• In order to share this offer the referrer must be over the age of 19.
• Referral rewards are single-use and cannot be used when booking more than one course.
• Referral rewards are only valid at the time of booking the course and cannot be retrospectively applied.
• Referral rewards are only valid when used for booking a course. They cannot be used when purchasing other City Lit products such as gift vouchers.
• Referral rewards cannot be exchanged for City Lit account credit, gift vouchers, discount codes or any other incentives.
• City Lit’s normal refund and credit policies apply for all customers who engage with the Mention Me refer-a-friend services.
• Rewards will be cumulative and so if multiple qualifying referrals are made to City Lit, multiple rewards will be delivered to the referrer, subject to a limit. A Referrer may not earn more than 5 within any 24 hour period or 25 within last 12 months or 1500 GBP of reward value within last 12 months. A Referrer should not expect their referred friends to be given rewards automatically if they are referring more frequently than 10 friends within any 24 hour period.
• Rewards will be delivered to the referrer on the day of the referred friend's purchase provided the referred friend's purchase is not cancelled.
• The Referrer will be notified by email once a referred friend has purchased and when the reward has been earned.
• Rewards will be valid for 3 months from the date earned by the referrer.
• Referral rewards cannot be combined with other discount codes in a single order.
• City Lit reserves the right to refuse the issue of any reward to any Referred Friend or Referrer at any time.
• City Lit reserves the right to vary any and all elements of this offer at any time without notice.

Referred Friend Rewards Terms and Conditions

• The reward is valid for 14 days from the point of issue to the referred friend.
• In order to qualify for the reward, the referred friend must be a new customer to City Lit and over the age of 19.
• Referred friend rewards can be claimed by selecting your course online, entering the code you are provided into the discount box and selecting ‘apply discount’, when you book via citylit.ac.uk.
• Referred friend rewards are single-use and cannot be used when booking more than one course.
• Referred friend rewards are only valid at the time of booking the course and cannot be retrospectively applied.
• Referred friend rewards are only valid when used for booking a course. They cannot be used when purchasing other City Lit products such as gift vouchers.
• Referee rewards cannot be exchanged for City Lit account credit, gift vouchers, discount codes or any other incentives.
• City Lit’s normal refund and credit policies apply for all customers who engage with the Mention Me refer-a-friend services.
• Any rewards will be revoked if a refund is requested on the order for which the reward was offered.
• The Referred friend reward cannot be claimed by the same person making the referral.
• Referred friend rewards cannot be combined with other discount codes in a single order.
• There are limits in place on how many and how frequently referrals can be made by any single referrer. Rewards may not be given if those limits are exceeded.
