Where London learns...
City Lit is where London learns... The capital's ultimate destination for inspiring evening, daytime and weekend courses for adults. Each year we offer thousands of part-time short courses, from one-off sessions to year-long programmes, so choosing a course to fit around your busy life is easy.
Most of our classes take place in our bright, modern flagship building in Covent Garden and are taught by inspiring, enthusiastic teachers, many of whom are leading experts and practitioners in their field.
It's no wonder that 98% of our learners rate their experience as good, very good or excellent.
Learn in the centre of London
Our purpose-built facilities in Covent Garden mean we are ideally located for Londoners. Choose a course after work, during the daytime or discover a new passion or skill at the weekend.
Our bright, modern building on Keeley Street, off Kingsway, near to both Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations offer a huge range of facilities.
Our huge range of short courses are housed in well equipped classrooms, specialist art and design work spaces, dedicated dance and fitness studios, as well as our multi-purpose theatre for drama practice and performance.
Great value for money
City Lit short courses are available at range of affordable prices. Courses start from as little as £20 for a one-off session or taster class. We offer a range of different prices for our courses, government funding means we are able to offer courses at lower cost than they would be otherwise.
We also offer senior and concessionary fees on most of our courses.
Why not try a taster session or book on one of our many single session courses?

We teamed up with top London event guide, Londonist, and asked fellow Londoners what they wanted to learn. Here are just some of the answers they gave us:
"To tie in to what I'm listening to at the moment, I've always wanted to learn how to produce electronic music...."
"I would love to learn sculpture - I've done a little bit and I'd love to be in a big studio and just go wild and make big things!"
"I've always wanted to learn Spanish - I go on holiday every year to Spain."
"I want to learn everything! There are so many things to learn, why would you stop at one thing?"
What will you choose?
