Here are just some of the key changes we've made as a result of your feedback in 2015-16:
'The course content did not match the course outline'
We've simplified course outlines and make sure that they are regularly updated to keep them accurate so that our courses match your expectations.
'It's hard to enrol online, if I want to book more than one course, I have to go through the whole booking system again!'
We launched our new website with a basket facility so that multiple courses can be bought in one go. We continue to make changes based on your feedback - including the option to filter search results by month start date and the level of a course - as well as signing up to waiting lists, so you'll receive an automatic email if a place becomes available on the course you're interested in.
'I want to know about other students' work and find out about events to make a closer knit community within City Lit'
We now publish 'What's On' - a termly newsletter listing upcoming events and showcasing student work and inspiring student stories. For students who have signed up to receive our emails, we also also regularly send details of upcoming events, straight to your inbox. We also showcase student work and upcoming events on our website blog.
'There are no left-handed tablet chairs in classrooms'
All of our new tablet chairs are suitable for both left and right-handed students and we're aiming to replace all our chairs soon. In the meantime, we've made sure that there is at least one left-handed tablet chair in every classroom
'There are no coeliac friendly foods available in The Lunch Room'
The soup available every day is now gluten-free. The Lunch Room staff are also happy to help you find something suitable if you have any allergies or food intolerances
