Can I change my mind and move to another course?
We want to make sure that you are on the course that's right for you, sometimes that means trying it out to see if it's right. For most of our courses if you want to move to another course, for any reason you can request City Lit Credit before the third session of your course starts.
How much credit will I get?
- We do not charge an admin fee for City Lit Credit.
- If you request your City Lit Credit before your course starts you will get the full value of the fees that you paid.
- If you request your City Lit Credit after your course has started we will charge you for the sessions of your course that have already run (up to two sessions).
For a small number of courses (generally our longer or accredited courses) we're unable to offer City Lit credit. If this applies to your course we’ll make it clear to you in the course outline and at interview, if one is required for your course.
If you think that your course level is either too easy or too hard please speak to your tutor or the department that runs your course as soon as possible, we will do our best to move you to a more suitable course at any time, if one is available.

How can I use my City Lit Credit?
For most enrolments City Lit Credit will be automatically applied to your account within 24 to 48 hours of your request. For some more complex enrolments our Information and Bookings Team will process your request within 1 week.
City Lit Credit can be used via all our enrolment methods (online, over the phone). You can use the credit on any course, it will be valid for one year. Credit is not transferable or refundable; you cannot give it to someone else to use.
You can log into your account at any time to see how much credit you have and when it will expire.
