Courses purchased less than 14 days before the course start date
If you purchase your course online, via our website less than 14 days before the course start date, your purchase is protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations (for online purchases) meaning you are entitled to request a monterary refund at any point leading up to the course start date. If you purchase your course over the phone or in-person, less than 14 days before the course start date you are entitled to request a store credit

When and how will I receive my refund?
Is your refund request is in policy and did you pay all your fees with one bank card?
By requesting your refund through your customer account your request will be processed within 5 to 10 working days.
By emailing the refunds team this request will take up to 3 weeks to process. The money will return onto the same card that you paid with and you will receive an email as confirmation of your refund.
Is your request is in policy and you paid in cash, set up an instalment plan or were awarded a bursary or grant for part of your course fees?
The Enrolment Team will process your refund within 4 weeks. If you paid by cash, we will refund you by BACS payment. You will need to complete a form which we will send to you after you have requested the refund. Refund via BACS can take up to 21 days.
If you have been awarded and bursary or grant, this money cannot be refunded to you.
If your request falls outside of the policy we may still be able to offer you full or partial City Lit Credit and there are some circumstances (for example if the reason you cannot attend is covered by the Disability Discrimination Act) where you may still be eligible for a refund. The Enrolment team will consider all requests individually and will get back to you within 4 weeks.
