Google Classroom is an online learning platform where students can access course resources, communicate with teachers and classmates, and participate in course activities.
This is the main message board where students and teachers can talk and share links and attachments.
This is where your tutor will issue out assignments and is where you should return completed assignments.
This is where you can see other members of the class.
To access your Google Classroom you must be signed in to your City Lit student Google/G Suite account. City Lit automatically generates your student Google/G Suite account and password when you join the collage.
It make take up to 24 hours following you very first enrolment for your Google/G Suite account to be active.
Your G Suite account login comes in the form of an email; student number followed by @student.citylit.ac.uk
Password for new City Lit students since 1st September
If you signed up to your course after 1st September, your new G Suite password is made up from your date of birth in this format: two numbers for day, first three letters for month starting with an upper case letter, and the year in full: 01Jan1986
Password for enrolments before 1st September
If you used your G Suite/Google account last academic year, or enrolled on your 20/21 course before 1st September, your default password will be your date of birth, but you may have updated it to something more personal.
