Blue badge holders
If you are a blue badge holder, you can park in any disabled parking bay. Our Keeley Street site has one disabled bay in front of the college. This can't be pre-booked but is available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Green badges
Disabled drivers can also apply for a green badge to park within certain areas of central London. Our main Keeley Street site is just inside this green badge area in Camden. All our other sites are outside this area but very close to the border (Fashion Retail Academy).
View the map of the green badge area by clicking here: https://www.camden.gov.uk/documents/20142/3754167/GreenBadgeAtoZ-12.19.pdf/a0aea383-e66c-c05b-d3df-887d7a49f170
Disabled students can apply for a green badge when attending a course at City Lit, provided they are blue badge holders. If you live in Camden, you can apply directly. Students who don't live in Camden can request a letter from City Lit, supporting their application for a green badge with details of the course they are attending (covering term dates and class times). Please contact the Access & Inclusion Team by emailing support@citylit.ac.uk or ring 020 7492 2506.
Information on how to apply is here: https://www.camden.gov.uk/green-badge. However the application can be lengthy and costs £30.
City Lit is situated on the border between the boroughs of Camden and Westminster. An alternative and cheaper option is for disabled students to park in Westminster. You can use this map to search for blue badge spaces near the location of your course.
