This guide will walk you through two essential steps to access your student IT account:
- Set your Password/ Reset your Password
- Set up text SMS as your Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) method
To go through the steps below, you will need:
Your City Lit student number
Access to your personal email
Access to a Computer/ Laptop
A mobile phone
Note
If you prefer to use an authenticator app rather than SMS please ensure that you are using the official Microsoft Authenticator app, this is free of charge. You do not need to use an app that requires payment.

Come to the Student Centre and Library (on the Mezzanine floor in our main building on Keeley street) Monday to Friday 10:30am to 5:30pm.
Outside of these times please speak to the Student Centre staff who can call someone down to meet you.
