The Government funds some of our courses under the "Legal Entitlement to English and Maths" scheme.

Courses funded by this scheme include:

    • English or maths to GCSE level
    • some information and communication technology (ICT) courses 

These courses are free if you are:

19 years or older

To study here in 2023/24 you need to be 19 years or older on 31st August 2023.

We will check your level when you apply, you must not already have a GCSE at grade C/4 or above.

  • Discretionary Leave to Enter or Remain

  • Humanitarian Protection
  • Leave Outside the Rules
  • Ukraine Family Scheme
  • Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme (Homes for Ukraine)
  • Ukraine Extension Scheme
  • Afghans eligible under the Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (formerly known as Locally Engaged Staff under the intimidation policy

One of the following:

 Certificate of entitlement to the right of abode

 Indefinite leave to remain (ILR) stamps and vignettes

 Biometric residence permit (BRP)

 Home Office travel documents

 Passport Stamp/Sticker - CAT D vignettes

  • You have been granted permission by the UK Government to support yourself or are receiving local authority support
